Zelda- Twilight Princess: Wii

Since the 8-bit Nintendo and the original Legend of Zelda, this appraised series has been a mainstay on all Nintendo’s consoles. Since then, a lot has changed. We now have the Wii and the new Zelda is Twilight Princess. Zelda: TP was one of the few launch games that were available on the first day of the Wii’s highly anticipated release. Twilight Princess was very well received by players and critics alike.

The return of Link brings many changes to the land of Hyrule. Mysteriously, the residents are disappearing and nobody knows where to? They have disappeared into a realm called, simply “Twilight”. Young Link must save the land of Hyrule and bring peace to this world once again.

The gameplay of TP is absolutely incredible, especially when your waving your sword around fighting bosses and even mini-games like herding cattle back to the ranch. It provides many unique ways to delight in the world of Hyrule. An fascinating twist in this game is that Link turns into a wolf in this outing. He also has some really cool beast powers as well.

We all know Link doesn’t have an actual audible voice in any of the installments of the series, so it’s no different this go-round. Although there is no voice-acting in the series yet, the cut-scenes are still fascinating in their own way. You will have to read the narratives, but if your a right Zelda gamer, you already know what to expect.

This game is decidedly darker in nature compared to the colorful rainbow that is Wind Waker or even, what many call the best game of all time, Ocarina of Time. Thanks to the Wii’s graphical improvements over previous Nintendo systems, Link has much more detailed worlds to explore and enemies to fight in his quest to save Hyrule. Zelda has truly returned in her largest epic quest yet and we welcome her with open arms (and controllers).
